About the FoundationThe Mid-State REALTORS® Community Foundation, Inc came into formation in 2010 when the Mid-State Association of REALTORS® looked to find a way to give back to our communities. In the Summer of 2012, we received approval from the IRS for this new Charitable Organization: The Mid-State REALTORS® Community Foundation, Inc. This new entity is a 501 c 3 organization which now allows us to accept donations that are tax deductible for the contributor. As a 501 c 3 charity, we can also be eligible to receive private foundation grants. The Mid-State REALTORS® Community Foundation, Inc's purpose is to involve local REALTORS® in giving back to those in need within our Community through Volunteerism and Fundraising. The Foundation has helped hundreds of children and individuals. Christmas Wishes for Kids, Easter Baskets, Backpacks for Kids, and Scholarship Programs are some of the things the Foundation provides. To do this and to give back, The Mid-State REALTORS® Community Foundation, Inc sponsors major events such as our Annual Golf Tournament and the Balloon Festival where members can contribute to the Foundation's ongoing endeavors.
