Golf Tournament

The 27^th annual golf tournament was held on June 24 at Chippanee Country Club in Bristol, CT. This golf tournament was our major fundraiser for our Christmas Wishes for Kids parties that we hold each Holiday Season in the Bristol and Southington areas.

With more than 90 golfers braving the extreme heat, the tournament was a great success.

Foundation Biography

The Mid-State Association of REALTORS^® began working on creating a Foundation in 2010. Finally in the summer of 2012, we received our approval from the IRS with our official 501 c 3 status. This allows us to offer our individual and corporate donors a tax deduction for their sponsorships. The possibility of a tax deduction is often an incentive for those who itemize their deductions on their income tax. As a 501 c 3 charity, we are also eligible to receive private foundation grants.

Message from the Chairperson

The Mid-State REALTORS^® Community Foundation, Inc was formed so that we can continue to help those in need within our communities. We hope that you will join us at one of our annual events including Christmas Wishes for Kids where we help Santa deliver presents to children in the central Connecticut area.

Backpacks for Kids

Mid-State REALTORS® Family Scholarship

For the past 7-8 years the Mid-State Members have donated dozens of backpacks and school supplies that we have brought to Lincoln Elementary School in New Britain and 5 years ago we added a Walsh Elementary School in Waterbury.

Both of the schools are extremely appreciative of our donations and they make sure that anytime during the year, if a student needs something, our supplies are available for them.
